Holiday Gift Program

United Way’s Holiday Gift Program connects families who need help purchasing gifts for their children with another person (or group) who would like to sponsor their children by checking items off their wishlist! This program serves Douglas and Pope County children ages 0-18.
Families are matched based on the number of children a sponsor would like to purchase for. A wishlist for each child is then provided by email. The sponsor purchases items off of the wishlist. New, unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at the United Way of Douglas & Pope Counties office at the close of the program. All parties are kept confidential! 

Program is Open:
Monday, November 15th - Thursday, December 9th
Registration for families and those wishing to sponsor will be open online, by phone and in office over this timeframe.

Please complete the Google Form above. Registration will require clothing sizes, favorite color, needs, wants and interests for each child so please be prepared to submit that information. If you are unable to complete registration online you are welcome to register by phone or in our office.

If you unsure of how many children you would like to sponsor we suggest spending $50 - $75 per child.

Gift Drop Off for Sponsors:
Friday, December 10th | 8am - 3pm
*Gifts cannot be dropped off early. All gifts must be new and unwrapped.

Gift Pick Up for Registered families:
Wednesday, December 15th | 8am - 5pm
Thursday, December 16th | 8am - 5pm
