Chili Cook-Off

Join us for the 24th Annual United Way of Douglas & Pope Counties Chili Cook-off! This year’s theme is Famous Groups & Duos! Choose your favorite pair of friends, team, musical group, movie cast or even pairing items (think Peanut Butter & Jelly). Cooks will be following in this theme for dress and table display.
Admission ticket gets you a bowl to taste 25+ different chilis. Tickets to attend are available at the door or at the United Way office leading up to the event.

Sponsorship benefits include a free Chili booth, tickets to the event and even providing a Chili Cook-off Judge!
Competition:
Anyone is welcome to put together a Chili Cook-off team. Chili booth fee is a suggested donation of $100.. free for non-profits! Teams will compete in the Cook-off and table display competition which will be rated by guest judges and members of our Board of Directors. Please plan to dress and decorate in the years theme. Winner of the People's Choice category will take home our traveling trophy. One large full roaster pan of chili is needed for serving. Preparation of chili is require to be done in a licensed kitchen.
