Day of Caring

The Day of Caring is serving Douglas & Pope Counties by providing 1,000+ hours of community service through student service learning. Students from Alexandria Public Schools and Minnewaska Area Schools alike will head out into the community to complete projects submitted by local individuals and non-profits.

We are seeking Project Proposals:

Do you, or someone you know, have an outdoor project that requires help to complete?
Are you a Douglas or Pope County resident or nonprofit that has an outdoor service project that benefits the community?

If you answered "YES" to one of the questions above please complete a Project Request for the Day of Caring. The form can be completed below online or a printed copy can be returned to Leah Wolkow (lwolkow@uwdp.org) for consideration.
