United Way of Douglas & Pope Counties announces Grant Request for Proposals (RFP).


United Way of Douglas & Pope Counties invites 501(c)3 nonprofit or government organizations whose programs align with our priority funding areas of Health, Education, and  Financial Stability to apply for United Way Community Impact Grants. Nonprofits applying for funding for programs must align with the United Way Goals and Focus Areas.  

These following guidelines and instructions give direction for completing the 2020-2021 United Way of Douglas & Pope Counties’ Funding Application. The application will be reviewed in the beginning of 2020 for funding year 2020–2021. Applications are due March 10, 2020 at 4:00 pm CST. Late and incomplete submissions WILL NOT be reviewed under any circumstances.

A separate United Way Application must be submitted for each program for which your agency is seeking funding. Applications are reviewed by United Way board members, volunteers and staff.

Allocation Committee prepares recommendation for Board  

Notification/Fund Distribution
Agencies notified of application results - By June 1
Quarterly payments begin – July
