Women United is a powerful network of women committed to creating opportunities that help our communities thrive. As part of the global United Way Women United movement, local members bring together their time, talents, and resources to drive real, measurable change. Through leadership, volunteerism, and philanthropy, they are helping to remove barriers and open doors for the next generation.

In our region, Women United focuses on Youth Opportunity by investing in early childhood literacy, mentoring, and career readiness programs that help children and teens succeed in school and life. Members support initiatives that make a lasting difference, like Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, school supply drives, and youth enrichment programs.

Women United members are shaping a future where every young person can reach their full potential, regardless of background or income. Whether it's through fundraising, community service, or advocacy, this group of dedicated women is making a meaningful impact every day.

We have two Women United affinity groups serving our region, each focused on meeting the unique needs of their local communities. One group supports youth focused initiatives in Douglas, Pope, and parts of Todd County. The other leads efforts in Otter Tail and Wadena counties. Both are united by a shared commitment to closing gaps and creating opportunities for children and families to thrive.
