GetConnected is our website that hosts Douglas and Pope County volunteer opportunities from United Way and other local non-profits. Speed Volunteering

Speed Volunteering projects address a commonly expressed need from those facing hardship. These projects can be easily coordinated and completed with friends, families, youth groups or co-workers. Choose a project and then follow the instructions on the worksheet. When you have completed your project drop off the finished product at United Way. United Way will then connect your projects with people who need them in Douglas and Pope Counties.  

Please call to inquire about current needs! Some kits may be in higher need at given times of the year.
